    Looks like a good job at freezing the action with sharpness & good exposure. Well done! Like the positioning in the frame as well. I would prefer the mallard to be heading a bit more towards us rather than away, and wish I could see more of that lovely blue on the wing

    Roy,

    Nice detail for a flight shot at 1/200, solid panning technique. The opportunity is the divided colors in the frame, the top is dark and the bottom bright - too distracting and the fame is unbalanced. With BIF images, I would recommend opening up the aperture and a higher ISO to get the shutter faster. Notice the large light reflection in the pupil that is motion blur and it happens on BIF pictures often. Faster shutter will help mitigate this and capture crisp detail. You are on the right track keep practicing. Often with flight we hold down the shutter with high speed on and find the best of the sequence. Keep em coming, you are improving.
