Rainy day at the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge. I was driving the loop road, looking at waterfowl, and saw this guy on the side of the road. Got out of the car and he posed for me briefly.

Hi Mack, this is certainly 'bright' in colour.

I would look at toning down the greens, ie in Saturation and then adjusting the various channels of colour ie yellow & blues. Now this is not ideal because I am doing this remotely, but I have tried to base the foliage on a wet, yet overcast day, so the greens are a bit more subdued? I have also added some Mid tone, & adjusted some Curves. I am only adding this RP as a guide to try and help in the direction I think you need to be looking at.

    Hope it helps.

Certainly a wet cat and I like the look back pose. I agree with Steve on the colors and would also apply another round of sharpening to the face.

Mack, I agree with Rachel's and Steve's comments. I like the composition with the diagonal flow of the foliage as well as the bobcat.
