    This small glacier was at the top of the above fjord, just around the corner from the spot where the beached Whale carcass provided us with some good Polar Bear sightings.

    Taken from Zodiac on 1st September 2009.

    I like the blue ice field and the mountains. I am not too keen on all the textured water in the FG.

    I posted a recrop where I cropped this and selectively sharpened the mountains. I also removed some cyan from the image.

    Hello Ken

    I do prefer Roberts image because the water lacks interest IMHO, my eye skips over that to get to the good bits. The sharpening and Cyan removal have also lifted "the good bits" considerably although I might trim a little of the top and turn it into a pano....

    Ken, very nice scene, and A very nice comp, I envy you. Robert's repost takes it up a notch.

    Thanks everybody for your comments, I am not very good at Landscapes and this clearly needed to be more of a pano and some reduction in the "blues".

    Lovely textures, Robert's crop and processing take it up a notch, love the glacier texture/colour in his post.

    Nice scene, think the repost strengthens the image well. I feel that you could extract more information from the sky, if you wanted to increase some of the drama there. I do like the glacier detail.
