Default Northern Shoveller, Stretching it's wing.

Image was created this week at Pune. Raw picture processed with Digital photo professional, Canon, cropped for composition and sharpened. Few leaves behind the neck and in front of chest are cloned. Black spots in the water are cleaned.

Nice composition. I like the wing position. The pure gray background doesn't do much for me. Did you Photoshop the background in of do a lot of cloning?

The shoveler is gorgeous though I think the eye is a little less than pin sharp. Can't do anything about the foliage and the wing tip. There appears to be some blotchiness in the background??

Satish, good job getting close. not easy to get close to Shoveller in Pune. whites look good. nice pose. wishing for a better BG though. it can use a little color sat boost.

Spectacular bird and pose but no cigar. Head turned away, o-o-f vegetation is distracting, and the BKGR is pretty much a mess with all kinds of clone stamp marks and artifacting. You can make the image look sharper by selecting and darkening the pupil. Where was the image made?
