    Default Eastern Imperial Eagles

Here is one photo which took me some time to capture. This is one of the 21 pairs of Eastern Imperial Eagles that still breeds in Bulgaria. It is taken with 7D, 500+1,4x, 1/1250, f7,1, ISO 400. It is not the perfect composition but this is the full frame - no options for crop. The exposition was difficult, the sky was too bright so I've darkened it a bit. Some sharpening and brightness/contrast adjustments were made.

Only 21 pairs in Bulgaria? Congrats on the image! I like the incoming pose of the flying bird, but tough light coming from above. To me the image would have been better without the perched bird there...but I understand you wanting the pair together in the frame. At least if it was looking the other way instead. Good call in drakening the sky.
