    Default Crested Hawk-Eagle

Made this image on a recent trip to Bandipur National Park. My first good sighting of this bird.

    Canon EOS 20D + Canon 600mm F4 IS handheld
    1/6400, F4, ISO-800

Would have liked more space around, but there just wasn't any. Cloned out a tree to the left.
    Thanks for viewing!

    Angad,

I like the unique subject placement and background colors. Love the long leg and side-way feathers on the head, very different. Always impressed with HHing the 600MM and the subject's look is priceless. The mixed light is a bit distracting but also adds a sense of original composition to the picture, looks like the light was coming from the subject's right side - Well done and different.
