Going through the Osprey folder as I'm trying to find three pictures for as gentleman for his publication, I found this one I like for posting.
    Taken in 2010.
    Thanks for looking.

What great eye contact. Very nicely exposed from underneath. It feels just a bit tight for the top wing tips. Looks like a very good choice to me.

great look and excellent details. I would de-saturate the sky and make it brighter

I like the underwing view and that the bird is almost looking at you directly. I would desaturate the blue in the sky a bit and crop a bit tighter on the right to get the bird in a true diagonal with the frame,

Beautiful eye contact and wing span, Karl. Agree about desaturation of sky. Gorgeous image.

Thanks Arash, Gail and Dave. Here is the modified version. The blue was brightened and somewhat desaturated.
The bird was moved to the right. It is not perfectly diagonal but close.

Impressive wing spread, terrific stare, exposure and IQ, Karl. I prefer the comp in the OP.
If at all I had to change the OP, I would add a bit to the top and/or crop just a bit from the right (but not move him to the right as that makes it appear as though he has moved past us)

Hi Karl. Great shot. This is "eye contact" extreme! I like the diagonal comp and the desat. sky.

Hi Karl, what a wingspread, sharp and well exposed on the underwings. Great eye contact, and I like your repost.
