One from the first set of goslings to hatch at a local lake. Looks like spring may actually show its head.

I like the COMP on this one. The catchlight in the eye adds a nice touch. The greens look over saturated to me but maybe that's their true color.

Hi todd, Very nicely done. I love the backlight and how you carefully chose your perspective. The vegetation is great; do you know the plant?

Extra points for cute factor ! Very well done with the backlighting and I love how you framed the gosling through the attractive vegetation. The burned edges look nice in this image, It does look oversaturated to me.

I really like the contemplative nature of this little guy, although I wonder if he's had enough time to contemplate anything. :o The vegetation is beautiful. I agree with Alfred's comments about the saturation of the greens.

Thanks for all the comments. I keep forgetting to check sat levels after save for web as it seems to always change from what is in the tiff.

Artie, the plants are lupines. Later this summer the fields around the lake will be full of them.

Here is a repost with the greens lowered (just used posted image to de-sat).

Cute! Personally, I think the higher saturation level in the original image contributed to a "dreamier, softer" look. Both versions are awesome, but but eash totally different feel.
