Even though the bridge is at the center of the image (almost), the composition around the clouds creating strong diagonal patterns makes this work. I think the bridge size is OK as it is well defined - though I expect some will find it too small as I did at first.

I am good with the textured look fo the water at this shutter speed, but feel a really long shutter speed, say 30 seconds, would have made this a much different image. That is why I recommend varying shutter speed during exposure.

    Robert, thank you.
I need to get more filters for my 14-24mm. I did not shoot with a filter that day, would have loved to slowed down the shutter speed even more.

    Hi Troy

I love the sky here and especially the cloud formation. The bridge is fine with me too but I am not so keen on the immediate foreground and would look at cropping a little off the bottom, maybe slightly above your name as it looks too much like a (not very appealing) mud bank to me.

    thanks for showing

Hi Troy, love the cloud formations and the colors...ditto on the longer exposure.

Insane colours here Troy. I find the bridge a tad too small (personal taste I guess), and agree with Robert on varying the exposure.

Do you have the special Lee filter kit? I shoot mine without filters but would love to experiment one day...
