    Captured in the garden at Loco Natural, Puerto Viejo, CR

    I was staking out White Collared Manakins, giving me the run around when I spotted these. Darting in and out of the bushes as they do.
    Fortunately I was able to get a clear shot or two!Pleased to get one in fairly good light, they normally dont show well at all
    My 7D 100-400 combo eV +.33, F 5.6 1/250 ISO 800 HH
    Cropped to remove vertical tree on left then canvas added to replace, otherwise just NR, levels and SS

    I like antbird's eyes

    Great detail on that face. I like how those feet wrap around the perch

    wonderful detail Richard, i love how his head feels "wavy". Sometimes it is the unexpected little birds that make the coolest pictures.
