Taken last summer during the twilight hours. Both parents of this juvenile red-breasted grosebeak would take turns feeding it from a nearby birdfeeder. Fortunately, the action took place on a nearby perch setup. I took several pictures but this one is my favourite.

Good timing and action. Mom looks great but the Juvi's face shows some ghosting/and or motion blur, some USM wouldnt hurt and would probably help quite a bit, especially with the eye.
Wonderful behavior capture and the poses and head angles are excellent. I would have preferred this as a wider shot, showing the entire bodies of both birds. I think the bg should be lighter. Black backgrounds for day active birds look unnatural to me, There is motion blur, especially on the baby, and selective sharpening would probably improve the image a lot.
Nice interaction. It's always a treat to have some behavior captured. I agree with others that I might like more frame around the birds. Also the image does appear soft on my monitor.
