Yes, I do need to get out and find other species. Until then ...

The whitish spots in the bg are other shovelers which I toned down selectively and then ran NR on the brown bg twice to reduce the distraction they caused.
    Comments appreciated.

    Thanks!

Hi Sid, great flying posture, and overall tack sharp. I like the overall exposure, and like how you have brought out the green sheen on the head. The eye stands out nicely too. Killer BG. Well captured.

Excellent flight shot, Sid. I like the v shaped wing position. It is nice the way it shows both sides of the wing. Great detail and and angle against pleasing background.

Killer flight shot in great light. The dual BG works well with this duck, and the colors compliment each other very well. I particularly like the angle of the bird and that both wings are completely extended upwards.

I love the detail on the far wing and the great colors you captured. The bg is very nice as well and the eye just pops against it..

This is a terrific image Sid. The upward wing stroke and complimentary BG are excellent. Tack sharp and I don't even notice the white spots you were worried about. No nits from me!

Sid, you really are getting your BIF photos down to an art form.
I would not have noticed anything about the BG, except it is pleasing if you
    hadn't mentioned it.
    Very Nice.
