    Robert,

I am not sure if this is what you had in mind this is two frames further along. I have another with the youngster fully out having a good shake. (but no Mum)

Taken somewhere off Svalbard from the rolling deck of MV Stockholm (a flat bottomed icebreaker) on 5th September 2009.

Flipping between this 2nd one and 1st one, I like this 2nd one a little better. But both are nice.
The color of the bear is better (?) on 2nd. The left bear's head is out of water and seen in 2nd. I like the slightly pulled back view in 2nd. But on 1st one I like the head angle of the right bear better (more towards camera)

Thanks for posting this one Ken. I agree with Tom, I like more of the second bear coming out of the water here, but the head angle to the lead bear from the previous post better.

Ken - I agree with the above but would be happy to have either of these shots. Well done.

    Ken,
I like this one better too. Mostly because of the clearer view of the one coming out of the water but I think the image itself looks a little better ( a touch brighter, clearer, and a little better color to me)

Thanks everbody for your comments which are much appreciated.

Over many years I have found the fact that animals never quite manage to face exactly the right way very frustating, but it adds to the fun.

Another killer one in this series Ken. For my I will still go with the first one. Nice pose and dripping water in first image make it for me.

Super series of images, Ken! Love both of them, especially the techs and exposure.
Thanks a lot for the visual treats
