Another image from my boat trip with James Shadle. This bird is so pretty when in breeding plumage. I was shooting groups of spoonbills when this guy flew by therefore the small aperture.
I would have preferred more ss

Very nice shot. Great flight angle and pose, I really the background as it brings out the egret, and great comp.
    Well done.

Beautiful light, and great pose, Cheryl. Particularly love the light on the face and the dreamy look in the eye. Great wing detail for sure. Looks like you really did have a great second day out there.

    Hi Cheryl,
Very nice flight shot and excellent IQ in the near wing. I wish for a bit more room top and a bit less on the bottom but that is a minor nit. I really like the hint of pink cloud in the BG as well,

Excellent flight shot, Cheryl. I like the nice breading colours of the beak and the close wing position.

Hi Cheryl, great semi banking pose, and sharp where it counts. I really like the position of the near wing, the breeding colours, and agree with Gail's suggestion on the comp.

Lovely flight pose, and the colors really pop. Love that near wing pose. It is amazing. Wish the opposite wing weren't cutting so close to the bird's head but that's why it's called nature. I like that you have given your Reddish a lot of space and would give him a tad more on top.
