This image was created in the morning at 8:31am in Everglades National Park, Eco Pond, Florida. I went back this morning and found the pond with less activity than last week. There were about 12 Black-necked Stilts, but none of them made any hurry to get close to the green reflections. After about 1.5 hours they finally came closer and provided some good opportunities. Like this one as the Stilt actually catched a little fish.
This image was created with the Canon 800mm f/5.6L IS lens at 800mm, and the EOS-1DMIV. ISO 400. Evaluative metering: 1/2500 sec. at f/5.6 set manually.
