    We were fortunate to have a number of fox encounters while in Japan.

    1D MIV, 500mm, handheld
    Manual - spot metered on snow highlight +2.3EV, 1/640 @ f/5.6, ISO 800
    Post-production- 15in MBP, LR3, CS5, NIK

    Fox is killer with that stare. I am undecided about the BG OOF tree on the left. I tried some crops w/o it; first one just from the left but looked too square; and decided only a tight crop of the fox looks good. I like the falling snow. Also good handheld technique at that shutter speed.
