    I like the fruit, color and detail on bird!

    Nice shot Rich. The highlights tad bright (bill eye, chest and main perch)- would suggest linear burn. I understand why you did the blur... but I am sorry to say not for me, the darker plumage looks superb.

    Hi Jon

    Thanks, completely understand re the BG its obviously much better for it to be clear, but predominantly not the case CR without setups.
    Interesting re the highlights as the histo looked fine; Ill checkout again.
    Background are one thing sure to give problems in the forests and gardens of CR, well apart from low light, then theres the.....lol

    Hi Richard,
    Very nice with the berry in the mouth. I might reduce the brightness of the bill and branches on the left. I wish for a better HA . BG is busy but the left half is fairly clean so I am Ok with it and it is the "real" environment,

    HA was the best I could get with the berry , the cheeky so and so would not tilt my way. I actually took a bunch of shots and not one is different; that s a fact
    I will look at the toning down as suggested, thanks
