Default Canada goose in nice light

While going through some old images, I found this one, taken in August, 06 at Jamaica Bay, East Pond. I'm thinking that two things kill it, one is the reflection running off the edge and the other is the foot partially showing, which is not too pretty. What do you think?

Thanks for looking and for your comments.

    Grace:

I actually like this image a lot. Beautifl background, nice camera angle, good head position, soft light. The foot doens't bother me, nor does the ripple.
    I think its a keeper!

Really beautiful, the warm soft light is gorgeous and the BG is very very nice.

I like the image as is. If I could change a thing I would say to show more of the background and loosen the crop slightly.

I have to disagree with you Grace...nothing kills it. It is a beautiful image! Love the soft warm light, muted soft bg., pose, and low perspective. The foot is fine...he's swimming. In that still water the ripple could trail way behind the goose, so it looks fine.
