    Nice landing pose with good sharpness and plenty of detail in the whites. I'd crop a bit off the left and add some canvas on the other three sides; the bird is too centered as presented IMO. Also there appears to be a halo at the top of the near wing.

    I really like the pose and the light here, but having the bird centered just doesn't work as well as if you were to take some off of the left.

    Hi Stuart,
    I wish you would post at a size of 1024 x 800 pixels. It would make your images stand out so much more and make it easier for us to critique your images.My eyes are getting old!
    This is really nice image. the whites are exposed very well and I like the pose a lot. I agree with moving the bird to the left of the frame.I love the color of the blues in the BG,

    Recrop works great. Still see some halo on the upper wing, did you do anything to it?
