Nice portrait shot of the Ibis Lynn. The background is a little busy, but the most
important thing is, you have a well exposed, tack sharp image.

BTW, its nice to see somebody still using a 20D. That will always be my favorite
    camera.

excellent details and head angle. I love their blue eyes. looks like there is a color cast that if mine, I'd try and fix.

Sharp as a tack and well exposed. I too see a color cast on the bird.

    Doug and Kaustubh,
I adjusted the fill down and tweaked the white balance a bit.
Does it look better this way?

    Hi Lynn,
I like the composition and good IQ of the shot. The repost is better re: color cast. I would clone or burn the white streak in front of the neck in lower frame and also tone down the highlights on the bill. Good image,
    gail

repost looks better but a little too cool I think. If mine, I'd start with RAW file, use neutral picture style, color sat 0, sharpness whatever you used( as that looks fine), color tone 2( i think 0 gives magenta cast)..WB daylight. If that is not giving the right colors, then use 'click' white balance. and do multiple clicks at different points in the whites to check the subtle variations it gives.....and then settle with what looks best. Then increase the color sat to 2...convert to jpg.

That is my usual workflow for white birds where color cast is seen even in bright sunlight.

I also have had issues with Ibis...as depending on age, they do have reddish brown tinge in them.

Hi Lynn, good portrait of this Ibis, and overall well exposed, sharp with good detail. In your repost, it seems you reduced the reds on the whole image - I would have only worked on the whites. Im fine with your BG, but agree with Gail to blend in the brighter stripe at edge of lower frame.
