Looks pretty impressive to me...

Ofer the samples look good but keep in mind they have heavy processing. they have no noise but no fine details either...I can make the 1D4 files look like those with processing but as you know for bird photography it becomes difficult to maintain details with heavy NR.

I have no doubt the 5D3 would have great IQ as the 5D2 has excellent overall IQ, my only wish is that it was faster. (8fps instead of 6 for this price)
