    This was taken in Costa Rica at the Savegre Lodge. I cloned out two branches. The IQ is not that great but I like the pose. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

    Hi Jim, who's looking at who here. Good direct eye contact, and you have exposed both yellows and blacks nicely. A vertical was the only way to go.

    Great shot Jim. I have chased the Redstarts, coming down from the cabins to the dining room at Savegre on multiple occasions.

    Jim, IQ looks good enough for this size. loved the head one pose...something different. You handeld the yellows very well here. Well done as always. enjoy looking at all these tropical birds.

    I like it a lot. IQ looks fine, the pose is terrific, BG and perch likewise. I like the diagonal line of the perch, and the contrasting leg and body angles of the bird. You nailed the focus and exposure, with blacks and yellows both under control. Very nice.

    I like his in your face stare. Nice color and sharpness. Would love to go to that lodge one day.
