    Default Alert snowy

Another snowy owl. He was alert for a while after he heard something, perhaps a small vole for breakfast

    Awesome Arash!
The expression is just great. The log, the BG with the Yarrow grass, I think this is my

Good Lord, this is good. This is another of the pacific northwest snowy owls, I take it? Anyhow, kudos; this one is breathtaking. I'd offer a critique if I could...

What a face! Almost has a hint of humor. Even the subtleties of this image are interesting, like how his feathers drape over that weather worn log.

That's a strong image. Great stare and color in the eyes! I like the layered bkgd and interaction with the log. Well done.

He looks aghast more than predatory. Great expression, comp, and as always, fantastic IQ, Arash. This is one of your best snowys for sure.

Hi Arash, love those wide alert eyes, and nicely framed between the grasses. Lovely soft light, well exposed, and you have brought out the detail very well.

The habitat really makes this one special. Also like the white of the owl against the darker perch and vegetation.

Oh man, this is awesome. The alert pose and the habitat make this a winner in my book. I'm loving the comp too. Amazing!
