    Default Surricat Sunset

Nikon D70 taken at 20mm with pop up flash 1/60 s at F11 ISO 200.This photo was taken a few years ago when I bought my first digital camera. We spent a few days in the Makgadikgadi Pans at Jack's Camp. They have a wild colony of meercats that had been studied by National Geographic for a few months so the meerkats were realxed around us. It still took us three days to get the perfect shot since at sunset they normally run underground and disappear.

Vivaldo - great pose, pov and sunset. Nice use of flash too. Only nit is I wish for a little more room below. Overall, very well done and your patience paid off.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Edited to say: maybe a slight amount of cw rotation needed?

    Vivaldo,

Good use of the flash and the sunset works perfect. I agree with Rachel on the more room below and CW rotation comments.

If you go with a CW rotation it with throw the horizon out, looks good as posted to me.

This is a super POV Vivaldo - nicely executed, though I wonder if the "obvious flash" could've been negated by using a warming gel or some sort of diffuser?

I am quiet sure that a warming gel would have helped alot but unfortunately somtimes one doesn't get the time as thing happen so quickly. The meercat only gave me one chance and I had to decided quickly on using flash to get the proper exposure. I also didn't have any gel with me or diffuser unfortunately.
