    Bummer about the clipped wing and muddy patches. Love the shadow and the pose. The image seems quite yellow, I added reduced the yellows and reds to taste in PS Colour Balance:

    Thanks Daniel, agree about the wing and patches, and repost does look better. I think I was trying to remove to much blue from the shot. The snow was really melting two weeks ago and the mud from the agricultural fields was showing everywhere. I have a few others to post higher up in the air. I have to admit that I am colour blind in certain colours and really struggle with post processing having to rely on memory and my monitor. It's hard for me to achieve perfect colour balance.
