    Default Smiling Tiger

Second from Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve Series.

She was just yawning and I just timed my shot
Wish the tire marks were not there and little more space at bottom.

    Kiran,

    What a marvelous image.

I have had a very rough go at correcting what you dislike in the OP, please remember you could do far better starting with the RAW.

Firstly I did some clockwise rotation to level it out a bit. Blurred the tire marks a little.

Then I added canvas at the bottom and used quick mask methods (described in APTATS 1 and 2 available from the BPN shop, a very worthwhile purchase) to add some foreground, finally linear contrast.

Sorry I lost your trademark filling in after rotation. If possible I would have liked to add some canvas on RHS but it proved to be a little too difficult from the JPEG,

    Cheers

    Ken

Kiran - good timing on the expression. I agree with your self-critique about it being too tight below but something is off with Ken's repost, it leaves the impression that the rear legs are suspended in the air not on the ground. It may be that all the ground added is blurred when some of it should be in focus or it may be an illusion because the front paw is sunken in the sand. Rotation and contrast are better in Ken's repost though.

    Rachel,

I now see what you mean, major cloning and patching without the original file is usually not be best and this is no exception.

Hi Kiran, nice detail, sharpness & clarity in the image and agree with your own critique.

Also when posting please can you Convert to Profile your image to sRGB, as per our Guideline when posting, as it will properly portray your image in the best way and prevents any colour shift when viewed in PS too.
