Nice action here with fix in bill and flying drops of water. Angle of bird in frame Ok, nice sense of the environment, you might be able to tease out a little bit more detail in the whites. Did you need to run any noise reduction? Sometimes that will reduce the visible detail in the subject, so normally we only run noise reduction on the background. Wouldn't expect to see much noise in the whites unless the image was very underexposed and you had to really bring up the exposure in post.
Overall, a nice improvement over the previous image.
Keep them coming.
Cheers

Randy,
Thanks for the tip on noise reduction. I did use a fair amount of NR, but the detail was lost due to the very flat overcast light.
I'm looking forward to the release of Lightroom 4 which will allow selective area adjustments.
Thanks for the info and I will keep trying.

Daniel,
Thanks for catching the blue cast. I went back and looked at my settings and I was relying on the camera's auto white balance (this was my mistake).
You have convinced me that I need a better monitor, but my eyes are not interchangeable. ;-)
Thanks for the observations.
