Japanese Macaque / Snow Monkey, Japan

This trip being my third to Japan I concentrated more on monkeys in wild habitat and behavioral images than in the hot spring.

    Chas,

Well, this is certainly very different (at least for me) in a way it seems more natural to see a monkey in a tree

It seems to be giving you a very stern look.

Great detail and the raised foot really adds a lot.

Thanks Chas for showing something different with this subject. The monkey in the pool images are too overdone.

Exactly what Ken said above.... What a look! I really like it - and not just for being "different".

Monkey in a tree is more natural so agree with Ken. Superb image, the white BG make this image IMO, as it make the whole image pop so nicely well done.

Chas - this is great. I like the balancing act on the branch with the raised foot and the white bg enhances. Well done as usual.

Love the originality here Chas and the new 300mm must be sweet. Nicely framed.
