In addition to the low angle and the terrific moment captured with the back foot raised and trailing water, the soft bkgd with the subtle layers of blues and browns sets off the crab plover very dramatically. That single line of water adds just the right amount of detail to ground the bird. Very well done.

Excellent! I love the low angle and the bird's walking pose (with that water splash). Perhaps moving the bird a little to the right?

Love this one! I've never seen the bird before, you captured him in such a clean setting and interesting pose. Great low angle and exposure.

Great low angle, and just enough action to add interest. As fussy as this may sound I do wish the head was angled ever so slightly more towards us. Excellent image!!

Beautiful image. The whites and blacks are just right. The FG and BG are just right. That thin sliver of in focus water is perfect.

Beautiful capture. Slight HA towards you would have made this one over the top.

Great shot! I like the hint of blue on the legs and the low angle. I, too, wish for a bit more head turn. It looks like he has black satin ribbon glued on to his feathers- very cool,

I clicked on this when I saw the thumbnail and must say it is beyond my expectations - lovley low angle and the exposure looks good. well done photographing a black and white bird so well. I like the running pose and the clean BG is super. I had not heard of this species.

Stunning shot, and stunning species. What a bill. Wonderful exposure, bg. Ditto the head turn, but still a killer image.

Incredible, the whites truly look fantastic! Many things to love about this shot but splash puts it over the top for me.
