    Portrait of a Buffalo cow. She had amazing eyes, almost as if she was going blind but seemed to be seeing quite well.

    Brendon - those eyes are haunting. Looks like the light was harsh. Nice detail and sharpness.

    I think the black and white conversion works well here. The eyes certainly make this image.

    Taking the color out of this image lets you concentrate on the lines, the details, the tones and shades. Nice work. I agree the eyes have it

    Hi Brendon, having a less distracting BKG would have help isolate the subject and given more emphasis.

    Thanks all for your great comments. Steve agreed on the bg i could have opened up my aperture a little to create a shallower DOF but i really wanted the entire portrait to be sharp.
