    Default Quick Catch

The morning started out slow at the Ft. Desoto park. The lagoon side was dead so we decided to head to the North part of the beach. We saw this gull was trying to swallow its morning catch. The whole thing happened so quickly. I set down my camera, turn both camera and flash, set the exposure and flash and this is what I got from this brief encounter.

Looks like you did well for a rapid fire situation...exposure and sharpness are good. Cool to have prey item as well.

I am not sure about the crop, I wonder about taking just a little off the bottom, right side and top, we'll see what others say.

Excellent exposure and great job with the flash. Lovely sharpness too. I'd probably crop tighter.

You captured some great action here. Techs look good but crop doesn't work for me probably b/c the gull's head is too centered. I would crop this one tighter and keep the head more in the top left of the frame.
