    It was shot at the Venice Rookery.
    Early morning used to be good there but now late afternoon is good only if you care about the background.
    I included the shooting time and date.

    Hi Karl, whites are white - great, and love the take off pose. Overall, the egret is nice and sharp, and gotta love that BG. Maybe a touch more NR needed it though.

    I know the problem. I had some computer issues and couldn't use either of the plug ins I have. (Topaz Denoise 5 and Imagenomic Noiseware Professional. )
    I could have used surface blur in layers and uncover the bird only but I was lazy to do it I guess. Sorry about it.

    Exposure looks good and a nice pose! Agree re the noise.
