    Alan:

The in focus bee adds the extra impact to an already fine image, and adds a bit of uniqueness to it, helps it stand out from other setup pictures.

    Techs,bird,exposure, all great.

I might try a version with the far left leave at the frame edge removed.

    Cheers

    Randy

Hi Alan, lots to look at in this. Good DOF, and I really like the detail and overall colours. Perfect flashwork, and of course, the bee intruding into the frame puts this over the top.

Phenomenal image, Alan. Everything is perfect here - bird, insect, flower, bg, lighting, pose.

Alan, what a great shot. the bee makes a lot of difference....you got it at the perfect sweet spot...mid way between bird and leaves..and just the right distance away form the flower. Incredible stuff.

This is simply stunning! Doesn't qualify as a "workshop image" as it is your image....

The flying bee puts it over the top.
Both are sharp and nice eye contact with both.
