Nancy, You did a great job with the filtering. I wonder if you reduced the white outline just a bit around the bottom areas of the elk to match the top outline? Nice to see a male and female together in the same image.

Kind of reminds me a little of a cave painting, in the shape without extensive detail.
Mark, cave painting is just the idea I wanted. Denise & Paul, I agree that the bottom white outlines are a bit thick. I mostly use Fractalius with a hit or miss approach and I just discovered that hitting some of those small icons create even different effects. Denise, do you have instructions on exactly what the sliders and buttons do so I could approach it with more of a method?
Nancy, The sliders sets work almost the same. I usually like to get it close to where I want it by moving the sliders and then do final tweaking in Photoshop with a layer mask.
This is lovely, Nancy. Although I like it a lot as presented, I'm wondering how it would look if you desaturated a bit and toned down those white lines.
Excellent composition, Nancy. I love the base image with the bg and pose of those elks. Excellent fract effect and agree on the white lines being a bit thick... one of the ways you could reduce the effect by reducing the line width slider in combination with scale slider. Typically it gives very different result from what you intend to have. In such cases I create multiple fract images on individual layers and then use masks to paint over what I want to see as the final effect. Hope this helps.
Nancy, great composition and you can tell he's sniffing her outI love cave paintings and this reminds me of them (it'd be interesting to try Maureen's suggestion and see it that intensifies the cave painting look.)

Hi Nancy, very nice couple and love the colors. Agree on the white line widths being a tad too thick. You can reduce their thickness by using the 'line width' sliders. Nice work!
