Male cheetah found in the NCA, far south Serengeti, patrolling his territory early morning. He took a few opportunities to rest before continuing his marking activities.

Very nice, Hilary, love the pose with head turn. Didn't know they could turn head that far around, almost 180 degrees!. Love the light, color, and habitat, pano works very well.

Hilary - great elongated pose with the tail flip and head turn towards you and nice clean bg. Maybe a touch more sharpening?

    Hilary,
Very nice image. The head turn sets it apart. First look at the image looks like the head was placed there with photoshop, as it doesn't seem natural. I don't don't recall having seen a head angle like that. And the light is beautiful. I agree on the sharpening.

Thanks everyone. I do some more sharpening on the file. Head position was for real, he must have seen something over there.

Hi Hilary, like the pose, would suggest reducing some of the Red/Magenta from the coat only. If stuck drop Rachel a PM as I'm not really around, although with some BPN folk, LOL.

Really nice DOF, Hilary, seems sharp enough to me.
The DOF gives it a 3D feel, and a great head turn!

Got to love it when the light hits those eyes properly.
Nice light and setting here Hilary. I concur with Steve on the red/magenta and also think it could use some more sharpening.
    Looking forward to more!
