    I have tried to get the brightness up on this image in PS but still think it lacks punch. Did a quick mask on under wings to lighten them also. I see edges I missed
    Taken on a dull overcast day in Cloudy WB mode.
    Canon 40D, 100-400L
    1/2000, f/5.6, ISO500, +.33EV, Partial metering.

    Bill, I think the main problem is the flat light. With that light is veery difficult to get punchy images. You could try and do a reverse curve too, since, in my opinion the contrast is a bit too high.
    Very good pose, btw :)

    Bill, I tried to get detail with the shadow/Highlight and it came up better, try redoing under raw in lightroom.

    Thanks Philip. I thought I tried everything in CS3 to lighten it but maybe not the S/H tool. I will try it again
