    Default Wilson's Plover

Wilson's plover in late afternoon. Taken on a Gulf beach in Florida. I got as low as I could but the bird was on ground lower than where I was. I like the grass - some may not.

Hi Allan, good low perspective, with a good pose and HA. Good feather detail on the wing which looks like where the focus point was. I would maybe selectively sharpen the head. Im fine with the grass in the FG, but would like to know if it was blurred in your pp work. If so, I would try a version as shot.

Nice capture and composition, Alan. Love the light, pose, and color. Like the grass, just wish there wasn't so much of it.

Great HA and I like Peter's repost. I like the green grasses. Adds a punch of color to the neutral colors,

    Beautiful light, pose, and setting!
I like the idea of the grass but wish it were not quite so far forward/OOF.

Here's another take on the color for your consideration ... added 10 points of Cyan and Magenta to the midtones using a Color Balance adjustment.

Wonderful shot. I really like the shooting angle, great background, and the oof grass does not bother me. I really like Mike's repost best.
    Well done.

I find the first version the best. The colors and sharpness are very nice.
