I generally refuse to use flash, probably because I do not like night drives. Found this one on our way home from the Dogs and could not resist it

Taken in Kwando concession, Botswana 31st December 2011.

    EOS 1D MkIV

    500mm F4 hand-held

    F5.6, ISO 1600, 1/100, EV -1.67

So you did or did not use flash here, or spotlight, I'm confused??
Whichever, pretty good for a night shot, good color balance., so good post processing?
Only thing I might do is take a little saturation out of the green grass so it doesn't compete with leopard.

Ken - nicely done and the outstretched tongue adds to the image.

    Tom,

Sorry for the confusion, this was taken with a spotlight.

Nice use of spot light Ken, with good techs and yawn pose.

    Ken,
Beautiful. Nice placement of the spotlight to the right. The colors look great on my calibrated monitor.

Good to see you "stepping out of the comfort zone" here Ken .
I like the pose with the tongue out, but feel it might be a tad dark and could do with some midtone/shadow dodging on the leopard (very mildly)...?
