    Myer:

    Nice tail spread, hovering pose.

    Appears to be some motion blur effecting the sharpness, even of the head. I find 1/1000s a minimum for reliable sharpness on BIF, and with the D3s, would push up the ISO to get to that min.

    I might consider a comp with a bit off the top, to play up the hovering feeling.

    I like the hovering pose but the image quality isn't great, image looks quite grainy and lacking in details. I think this was a huge crop?

    Great pose and colors, but I agree about the IQ.
