Fluffed up after a dust bath. Hard to get the right exposure, but I did try to keep the BG blurred.

D300, Tamron 200-500.
Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/2000 second = 0.0005 second

Exposure Program = aperture priority (3)
ISO Speed Ratings = 800

Hi Richard Did well with the bg Can even crop a bit more top and bottom I like the bird placement in frame With the extra room on the right Not sure why the head is not tack sharp Shutter speed seems more than adequate Maybe the point of focus in more in the left breast area? I like it !!!!

agree with al, would crop some off the bottom. nice pose on the bird!!
