    1D IV, 300mm f/2.8 II w/ 1.4x III
    Manual, Spot metered on snow +2 EV, 1/1000 @ f/9, ISO 800
    Post-production- 15in MBP, LR3, CS5, NIK

    Chas,

    This is a very strange looking animal, which I have never seen before, so I find it quite difficult to comment on.

    It looks quite dark and a little lacking in derail, but that may be how it looks like

    You nailed the exposure, lots of details in the snow with just the right amount of shadows. I like the eye and the smile on the face. I think the head angle works for me because the animal is looking down the trail ahead of itself, it is sure footed and it shows up in the image. Reminds me of one of my wolf shots you helped me with sometime back. We have got to meet up for a shoot sometime. Many thanks for sharing Chas!

    Nice comp, Chas! Cool looking goat - Like pose you captured, nicely processed, like the subtle texture of snow. Twigs sticking out are nice habitat touch.
