    Default Eye Contact

    50D, 300 F4L IS, F5.6, 1/3200, cropped about 30%

Haven't posted for a while. There certainly was an influx of Snowy Owls this year as we all know. We didn't have much success in the earlier part of the winter. Only recently did things start to improve. They'll be leaving soon but will put up a few more.

    Art:

Nice banking pose, great eye contact, well exposed.

I suspect you didn't want to crop much tighter for IQ reasons, and I like the looser crop. The sky here really gives the impression he is flying over snow, fits with him well. The negative space works well here.

    Cheers

nice flight pose but detail and IQ has suffered quite a bit from the tight crop.
