Gail you are cranking them out!! Nice exposure and sharpness. The plover is a bit too big in the frame for me, and need more space on the left side of the frame. HA is just a bit too much to be perfect. Like the fact that this one is not banded and you can see the full legs, despite the low angle.

Wonderful image made even better by the low angle. Might wish for a bit more room on the left.

Gail, very nicely done. Exposure looks great as do your shooting angle and choice of aperture.

Gail, congrats on the milestone and here's to many more! I enjoy viewing your images and reading your input - many thanks.

The comp is a bit unconventional, but it has grown on me :)
Lovely exposure and I really like the over turned shells. The white sand and the way it merges into the faint blue bg is lovely.
I'd run NR on the bg and remove the 3-4 tiny dust spots.

Sid, thank you for noticing the dust spots. I completely missed them.
I added 5 % canvas on the right for Clemens and Joe and did another round of NR.

Beautiful, Gail. Cheryl's word "dreamy" got it right. Lovely detail and soft mood. 5% on the left helped; I might have gone to 10%. Congrats on 2K.

I too like the dreamy feel from the blurred shells and the color of your bg. You know me, I like space, and this is tight in the frame for my own personal taste. There are places on the bird that look oversharpened to me and given the soft, dreamy feel to the image, I'd reduce that a touch. Congrats on reaching 2000 so fast!

I like the wonderful soft pastel colours and the expression on the birds face.... good use of DOF to isolate the bird
Congrats on reaching 2000 and may you post many more :-)

Hi Gail, huge congrats on your milestone, and a big thank you for your valued participation. Your low perspective works well, and just love the overall exposure. You have brought out the feather detail very well, and I like how the colours of the BG change gradually from green in the ULC to light blue in the LRC. Your reposts looks great.

Real nice, Gail! Like the softness, eye contact, detail, and beautiful BG with subtle color transition. I think the softness to shells creates a nice effect, and so I don't miss the feet. Congratulations on 2000!

    Gail:

Lovely exposure, shooting angle, BG. The overturned shell keeps my eye moving around the frame, back and forth between it and the bird, which is a good thing in this case. If that shell wasn't there, I would have cropped tighter from the right, but the shell begs to be included, so like how you have handled that side.

I do like the slightly looser comp of the repost.

    Cheers

A great image. Lovely BG. I like the comp. what bird stands on, does the image to something extra. Really well done.

It's a beauty. It is my kind of picture, Gail. This was one of the shorebirds we did not find this time.
I guess you have to go to Fort Myers Beach to find them as we usually do.

2000!!! Wow, it went by fast didn't it! Thank you for your excellent participation here on BPN

A bit tight in the frame for me, but great job on the exposure. Super details too. You did a very nice job with the Fg.
