    Default Pride call

    Attached Images Attached Images

One of the injured females quietly calling her 20 strong Hollywood pride.
She had been badly horned in the throat a week earlier by a buffalo bull whilst bringing it down.
Looking somewhat sorry for herself, she is a fighter and survived the ordeal just a little worse for wear.
Would have liked a little more lower room but is F/F.
The amazing video of the incident (@ 1.40 into the video) can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oQrEshH_ck

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

Certainly does look like a nasty gash, great detail and nice light with a very nice bg, well captured.

    Marc,

    Great mage

That looks a nasty wound, but she must have been a bit stupid to attack from the front.

To think people say Wild Dog kills are vicious, gone in 30 seconds!

Marc - nicely captured with good detail and the comp works. Does look like a nasty gash. You might consider cloning out the dark area on the rhs.

Like the C-shaped pose of the lioness and the simple comp.

It's worth checking out the video link, she simply wasn't quick enough and got caught out.

Nice composition. I don't know how deep the injury is, but this shouldn't be life threatening.
Movie is very nice too (well, not for the buffalo that is).

Might ease off on the contrast a tad Marc, but just on the lioness.

She certainly looks like a wounded warrior! Great techs and clarity to the image.

Another one from your late evening action shots. Great sighting and capture.
