    Following the theft of their young Gnu "kill" by the Wid Dogs, we followed the Cheetah coalition to what turned out to be greener pastures for them.

    They sucessfully staled a Male Impalla, and remarkably killed it instantly, this one is getting his breath back after the initial feast (and watching out for the Wild Dogs)

    Taken in Kwando concession, Botswana, 25th December 2011

    Lovely portrait, great detail, colours and love the tongue out with the bit of blood on the face, the bg is perfect too, very well captured.

    Messy eater but nice to see him cleaning up after dinner. Like that you got some visible shoulder and the curve of the neck for this profile shot.
