According to SANParks, a total of 52 Rhinos have been reported poached since Jan. 1st.
Here's hoping that our race's eyes open before it's too late!

    Taken at Kruger in 2010.

    Shreyas,

Not to sure if I like the processing on this one as the Rhino colours look a little odd (too red??)

Do you happen to know how many Rhino have been born this year, I am aware that in spite of the increase in poaching the population of Rhino in South Africa grows ever year.

There is a simple answer but I do not feel it is best discussed here.

Can't argue the situation is appalling.
The half sepia and half coloured, doesn't quite work for me Shreyas, also it needs more lower room for the trio to walk into.

Sorry Sheryas, but I'm not a fan of the treatment here either. The pink rhinos look strange. I'd rather see it as a straight conversion or in color. Would also prefer a bit more room below. Also you left out the ss from your techs.

Nice grouping on the rhinos. Just needs a little room on the bottom for me. Nice to be able to do a little experimenting with PP and still be able to have an original as well.

    Appalling indeed (the situation).
I agree with the others - for me the rhinos need to have the same treatment as the BG (which I like). You can still make them stand out a bit more with dodging and burning.
I would also have liked more room below.

Thanks all for the input. The image was originally shot in jpg with poor IQ and harsh sunlight, during my photography 101 days
Have always liked this image because of the pose of the Rhino family. Will try the suggestions out and see if I can make it look better!
