Here Goldwyn is staring down his 2 other pride males who are waiting in the wings for an invite to the feasting table. The puku here is still very much alive and he's just been playing with it for the last 5 mins.
One of the better angles where his large collar is not showing. Agreed there is some noise/sharpness issues evident, but love the stand over pose & lighting here.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

    Marc,

Given the available light, this looks pretty good to me

Marc - the stance over the puku is great. You did what you could with the available light.

Hi Marc, personally this is my favourite. Really like the pose/stance and well frame too. The shot outweighs the issues you raised in the intro.

fabulous pose and setting here Marc
personally I feel some of the others "held up" better in the IQ department (given the conditions were shoddy) - but I too feel this is my favourite.
Cherry on top would've been having the lion's eyes just a tad sharper but at 1/100 that was always going to be a challenge
Might perhaps work a bit to tone down the blueish/greenish/cyan cast?

Like the light on this much better than your 2/18 image. Composition may be the best of the bunch?
