    i thought this might be interesting to people.
    My wife took this with her 9100 coolpix P & S of me photographing Snowy Owls on the Washington coast this weekend.
    Shows how close you can get to this once in a lifetime bird if you use common sense.
    We left the Owl sitting on the perch.

    Amazing you could get this close. And, I''ve also found that p&S cameras do have their place, as in this instance. Good to have one handy sometimes. Love to see what your shot came out as.

    That's pretty amazing, Dan. Snowy owls are high on my list of birds I would like to see. Would love to see your shot!
