    Default Yellow-tufted Honeyeater

Canon EOS 3, Canon 100-300 F5.6L, ISO 100, Natural light with fill flash, 1/125 F11, Hide/Tripod. Tight crop intentional to reduce some of the distracting BG and emphasize the rapport between parent and chick.

Nice action and an intimate moment you caught. Good head angles on both birds.

It may be the effect of the flash, but to me the scene looks almost unreal like it could be a museum display or something.

Hi John, I like the tighter crop and I think it projects the effect you were aiming for. The timing was perfect, getting the interaction between chick and parent.
