Well, 3,000 give or take a few. This image is from a pelagic trip that I took end of January off the coast of Long Island. A black legged kittiwake was a new species for me and I was disappointed when I saw this image on the back of the camera because the left wing as viewed was slightly curled and there was a shadow of another bird across it. I gave a lot of thought to what I wanted to do about it and by using alot of the tips that I have learned here, I replaced the left wing. I like it best when things work perfectly and I get what I want in-camera, but sometimes it just doesn't happen, so why not use all the crayons in my crayon box.
